I’m Shan Hooper, a graphic designer and visual strategist based in nipaluna/Hobart. I partner with small businesses, venues and community projects, especially within LGBTQIA+ communities, to clarify their brand, design visual identities and create campaign content that’s easy to roll out. My practice is grounded in curiosity and problem‑solving, turning loose ideas into clear, cohesive visuals.

 

I hold a Diploma in Graphic Design & Multimedia Communication, and my work is equally shaped by a long history of trusted, word‑of‑mouth freelance projects. My visual style balances professional design execution with vibrant, joyful aesthetics, bringing bold colour and energy into local spaces and LGBTQIA+ organisations. This approach is deeply informed by my multifaceted involvement in queer culture as an event manager, podcast co‑host, digital content creator and drag king performer.
